The Game: 300 point teams. Random placement, first turn 2 movement actions only to regroup/avoid annihilation.

The Map: A nice mix of buildings and open spaces, with the Apparitions Comics building prominently featured (Wednesday game night endorsed comic shop of choice).



The Teams:

Chris: My favorite superhero cartoons from childhood assemble into a team. Batman (E), Hulk (U), Robin (E), and Spider-man (V).


Adam: Who needs guns when you all you need are your fists! Adam composed his team of world renowned pugilists. Elektra (U), Captain America (E), Daredevil (V), Wildcat (V), and Batman (E).


Jeff: Any muscle-head's dream is an entourage of hot babes to follow you around. That is just what you get if you are a veins-poppin', 'roided up Hulk with an extra long tongue. I present: Hulk and his green haired hulk babes! She-Hulk (R), Aphrodite IX (V), Polaris (R), and 2099 Hulk (U).


Dan: Alas, another no-theme team for me. Let me know if you can think of a theme for this team. Black Lightning (V), Knockout (E), Angel (V), Superman (U).

Critical Hits: Two in this game. The first was my Knockout attack on Adam's Wildcat for 3 damage. Later in the game Jeff's Hulk pounded on Chris's Hulk for 4 damage also.

Critical Misses: Only one, from Chris. His Hulk didn't like getting smacked by Jeff's Hulk. In blind rage he swung, missed and fell off the side of the building instead. SMASH!!

First Hit: Don't remember/didn't write down. Idiot!

Most Damage in a Single Attack: Adam and Jeff both a had few attack for 4 damage apiece.

Favorite Team: Jeff wins this one because it is so fun! Hulk with green haired lady-friends....too good....

Throw Down I Most Wanted to See...and Did See: What happens when a golden-age Superman takes on a future Hulk from 2099? Well, both characters have a hard time hitting each other. Then they finally landing punches, and I don't remember who wins. Anti-climatic, ain't it? Gotta post these suckers while they are fresh in my mind.

Supes leaps into action against Hulk while Angel tries to look pretty.


Clix of the Night with Hurt Feelings: Poor Robin. He wanted to get into a fight, but no one would join him. Instead he spent the night on the roof, under an apple tree trying to dig his speedo bottoms out of his crack.

Over here! Guys, I'm over here! Guys!! ...guys...???


And the Winner Is: ??? It came down to Adam and Jeff I think but I don't remember who won. We're all winners on Wednesday Night Game Night. Hurray!
